Dear Parent(s):

Annually, Dove Science Academy sponsors a 5^th Grade Math Contest, which is held during our spring enrollment season, and we would like to invite your child/student(s) to participate at this event, which be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011. This contest encourages students to develop an enthusiasm for math and problem solving while contributing to their intellectual development.

Last year, we had more than 100 participants from different elementary schools in Tulsa metro area. Of those over 100 participants, 20 students received special recognition for their outstanding work. We would like to continue this tradition of encouraging students to engage in math, and hope that your child/student(s) will be interested in participating.

The first place prize is a netbook computer, the second place winner will receive a bike, and the third place prize is an MP3 player. Not only will those 3 students receive these special awards, but we will also offer 10 hours of advanced math class for the top 20 contenders, for free.
